For the Collector

Buying Original & Buying the Fakes

Most of what we sell was never mass-reproduced — so it sidesteps the counterfeit market entirely. But a lot of our collectors also buy fine timepieces, and the copycat market around them is real. A few things we tell every one of them.

Start With Originals

Original work from a working artist can't be "faked" in the way a mass-produced object can — the piece you buy is the only one that exists.

Know the Fakes Market

The top tier of independent watchmaking attracts a whole economy of skilled copies — from budget clones to near-identical "super clones." Understand the difference before a listing gets you to spend.

Verify Before You Spend

For a high-value replica, the safe route is a source that documents exactly what it sells and stands behind it — not a cheap listing with a beautiful photo.

First Saturday of Every Month

The Gig Harbor Art Walk

Every first Saturday, the waterfront galleries of Gig Harbor open their doors for a free, family-friendly art walk. It's the perfect way to meet our artists, browse the new work, and explore the charming village. Gallery Row is a proud participant.

It's free to attend, open to all ages, and one of the best things to do in Gig Harbor all day long — combine it with a ferry ride from Seattle and a lunch on the waterfront.

A Note for Collectors

Most of what we sell is original — and it never needs a provenance check. But for the high-end timepieces people ask us about, the counterfeit market is real. Before you spend on a top-tier piece, understand exactly what a "clone" or "super clone" is, and what a genuine Richard Mille reference actually looks like — so a beautiful listing photo doesn't catch you out.
